Hario Fukami is a glass teapot designed for serving the traditional Japanese Fukamushi tea - a deep-brewed tea.
In common tea processing, tea leaves are brewed for 30 seconds to stop their fermentation. Fukamushi teas are brewed for 90-120 seconds, promoting sweet tastes and slightly bitter tones in the tea. The Fukami teapot is made in Japan from thin glass, which does not take the temperature important for infusing the tea.
