A beautiful example of the Yellow Bourbon cultivar from Brazil. It is smooth and sweet with tastes of dark chocolate, peanut butter and a caramel finish.
La Boheme Café has been working with the Croce and Baretto family since 2014. This
family a has a long history of coffee farming, they are known internationally as one of the
best coffee farmers in Brazil and supply some of the worlds best coffee companies. Beyond
growing amazing coffee they pay special attention to the post harvesting processing of their
coffees to produce amazing quality washed, honey and natural processed coffee. They also
have strict environmental controls and their own environmental programs.
The farm and cooperative Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza (FAF) was created in 1850 by the
Barretto family. Passion for coffee has passed on for generations and now the farm is
managed by Silvia Barretto and her husband Marcos Croce. This coffee is produced in the
heart of the Mogiana Mountains, between 900 and 1,300 m a.s.l. and consists purely of
Yellow Bourbon cultivar grown under the shade of tropical trees.
This coffee has a subtle but full body with strong flavours of peanut butter, dark chocolate
and a smooth caramel aftertaste, accompanied by some fruity notes.
