The carafe is microwave and dishwasher safe but do not use on direct heat or overheat without water. Clean carefully, avoid abrasives and steel wool. Sudden changes in temperature may cause cracking. Do not use the carafe by the lid to avoid damage. The filter and lid are dishwasher safe, but cleaning the filter with warm water is recommended. For a long life, wash and dry the carafe thoroughly after each use.
