The basic difference between Culinary matcha and Ceremonial matcha is not found in their quality, but in the purpose for which matcha is intended.
The so-called Culinary matcha is suitable for preparing cocktails, smoothies or for cooking or preparing refreshing ice cream. It is based on Matcha green tea leaves, which is grown according to traditional Japanese standards. As well as Ceremonial matcha, which is made from the youngest tea leaves stripped of the stems and veins to achieve the smoothest taste and texture. It is suitable for direct drinking according to the traditional ritual during tea ceremonies or directly prepared at home or in your favorite cafe.
The individual types of Match can differ from each other, for example, in terms of taste profile, color palette or production technique.
